Join Uma Spender for a journey to the heart of the dark feminine. This workshop will explore tantrik philosophy & mythology and it's relevance to our modern day spirituality, as well as utilise connected breathwork*, free movement and vocalisation to dive deep into self-enquiry. All welcome - feminine wisdom is for everybody.
Surrender, release & expand.
Find your deepest expression.
Open to real liberation.
When the world around us appears to be crumbling, it is the wisdom of the Dark Feminine that is the comfort within the discomfort. In times of great uncertainty (personally, spiritually, politically, environmentally), we are challenged to face our deepest fears, to let go of our perceived ideas of safety and privilege. On the Yogic path, it is Kali who guides the way, holding us in the unknown - The Void.
In this session, we will create ritual around the dark shadow and practice presence in the potent space of the unknown.
* This open-mouth, conscious and connected breathing naturally releases dimethyltryptamine (DMT) into the brain. This can create expanded emotional awareness, peak experiences of oneness, and spiritual breakthroughs. Connected breathwork is not recommended during pregnancy, or for those with epilepsy, high blood pressure, or people suffering severe mental illness.
