Join T5D's Asher Packman alongside Heidi Trigar as they explore the heart through music and meditation on the night of the July Full Moon - a partial lunar eclipse offering the opportunity for magic, transformation and letting go.
The session begins with Asher taking a deep dive into the energetic heart, using music as a metaphor to tap into our innate intuition and realigning our hearts and minds through meditation and dialogue.
This will be followed by a 90-minute Kirtan session where Heidi and her full band will lead a call and response chant which is repeated over many times. This ancient form of Bhakti Yoga often changes in tempo to invoke the essence of the particular deity being sung to. These chants have been sung for millennium by sages, sinners, devotees and yogis from all over the world.
Kirtan is for everyone young and old. There are no expectations and no inhibitions. Don’t worry what you sound like, just bring your open heart!
The emphasis of this night is on fun, love and playfulness. Everyone is welcome.
