Duncan and his family emigrated from England to Australia in 2012. He has been involved in fitness and wellbeing all his life, first playing state level football, rugby and basketball before coaching elite juniors. He has a passion for blending movement with lifestyle management and inviting people to experience their bodies fully.

Duncan spent two years as the strength and conditioning coach for Melbourne Rebels before opening his own business, The FUNctional Project, which has now morphed into The Fifth Direction.

With qualifications from Chek Practitioner to HLC, Animal Flow, Kettlebell, Bulgarian Bag, TRX and Advanced Boxing, you are as likely to see him crawling around the floor practicing fluid movement as you are to find him locked away in the strength room. He believes everyone should be as mobile as they are strong.
